About this bathing water

Esker is a man made bathing water area on the western bank of the river Shannon in Banagher on the Galway side. It is a concrete rectangular structure and is held in position by 4 large posts piled driven into the river bed. The pool is accessed by a wooden bridge at it's southern end.
